So I guess if you can read the title then you may already know the subject of today's post. Yep the weather is turning, Halloween's coming and you guessed it...I'm sick. This has been the longest weekend ever. And it all started at Mini's practice on Thursday. 1st off let's get a little background.
I am a type 1 diabetic, with hardly any imune system. I tend to take care of other before me but I always end up getting sick just the same. I have not taken my flu shot yet this year because I haven't really had the time and because I really hate shots. (Tattoo's are not shots and they are way different.) I mean I got out of the flu shot last year only because I had during the summer. So this year is just a time thing.
Now Thursday at Mini's practices this horrid little boys (I want to call them something else) were near us moms (no they didn't belong to any of us) and began to kick up dust and dirt. We practice at a baseball field so loose dirt is aplenty. Now after all the moms got on to the little...(fill in your own name) They were made to finally appoligize. Well so now I have dust in my system.
Friday was Mini's first field trip and we went to the zoo. Since I am mostly a stay at home mom, my job is to be room mom and helper for anyother thing she has. So Friday was already going to be long day as I woke up and felt the need of not being able to breathe. Then we get to school and I learn that I am given a second child to our small group. Total now of 3 kids and me. Not a problem, until I find out the other little girl who is with us doesn't like the new little girl with us and mini is desperate need of the other girls attention. (Yeah I'm confused too and I'm the one who just explained that.) I made it clear that we all are going to play well together then had to make it clear to Mini that she needs to befriend everyone. Thankfully both girls liked mine. So after having to express the need for harmony, and the mixture of dust and other smells I went home with a stopped up head. Cue nap there, both me and Mini took one. Later Friday night we went to the football game Mini got to cheer with the big girls and I have to say it was pretty cool.
Side note: I'm really not that big into sports and football has never held any woohoo for me.
Saturday I woke up again unable to really breathe. Ugh, really long day. But I got up and got dressed and cheered for my little mini as she cheered on the boys. We won of course and I find out that we will be going on to our playoffs. (Yes peewee has playoffs) But hubby takes me home so that I can go to bed and there I stay.
Now today, If I didn't have some school work and I didn't have to work I would still be in bed today. But as it is. We need the money and so here I am unable to keep from sniffling working in my small little corner. I need something real todo. But I still can't breath very well and I think I've taken enough meds to supply a small pharmcy and the only saving grace is that my little family has let me rest. Until I had to work. Grr. I will feel better cause I refuse to go to the dr. Well Later days peeps.

Welcome to my world. I always say that in my world there is always chocolate covered rainbows and rivers that flow with caramel. I'm inviting you in to take a look at what my world really looks like. My name is Tiffany and I am inviting you into my family and all the ups and downs we experience. I don't have a filter and will tell you pretty much anything and everything I can. (This is cheaper then therapy) Due to this verbal vomiting I change the names of all those I hold near and dear and even those I don't because though I have given you a day pass into my life, they haven't and I will respect their wishes and thoughts in this area. Main players will always be my daughter Mini.
Disclaimer: Good, bad, pretty and ugly, I will tell it. And though this may make you uncomfortable please remember that by reading this blog you signed up for those feelings so sit back relax and enjoy. Oh and Welcome to my Happy Little World. Later Days Tiffany
